SOLD!!!!! MORE REQUIRED PLEASE GET IN TOUCH ON 07746098614 Some cars have such a wide appeal that just mentioning their name will grab the attention of enthusiasts across the board and whether your tastes are for classics, sports-performance, modification etc you are sure to know and respect the name "RS Cosworth". Launched in the UK in 1988, the Sapphire Cosworth took a different direction to the original three-door Sierra RS Cosworth and the longer, lower profile combined with a more sleek rear wing gave an improved drag coefficient which enabled the Sapphire Cosworth to record both a higher top speed and faster 0-60 time than its predecessor. Today, the Sapphire Cosworth is somewhat more accessible than the original three-door Sierra Cosworths and have developed almost a cult following in their own right as a "stand alone" model. This example is finished in Ford's Magenta Red Metallic paint, a reasonably rare colour by the standard of the model. A Morette twin-headlamp conversion gives a more sporting look reminiscent of a World Rally or Touring Car look and also offer upgraded beam throw over the standard units. A front bumper splitter furthers this look and the vented bonnet offers form as well as function, helping to keep the beast which lurks within fed with cool air. With 17" Compomotive five-spoke alloy wheels finished in antrhacite grey and wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza tyres keeping everything held down and pointing in the right direction, the car does not look particularly modified with even the stainless steel exhaust remaining fairly understated. Internally, the black leather trimmed interior features incredible sport seats which feel as supportive as a racing bucket but as comfortable as a premium armchair, air conditioning and electric windows all around. With a huge history file stacked with invoices, bills and receipts totalling well over £11,000, you are not only looking at a well serviced and maintained example, but one which has been meticulously and carefully upgraded over time by passionate owners at specialist workshops and garages. The standard 1,993cc Turbocharged YBB engine has been given a number of upgrades which not only increase the performance significantly, but in some cases also offer improved longevity over standard components. A T34 roller-bearing hybrid turbo unit with cutback blades has been installed and to keep it supplied with a good dose of cold air, the intercooler has been replaced with an upgraded unit from the RS500 Sierra Cosworth while the radiator has also been upgraded to an alloy unit. The header tank and full breather system have been replaced with upgraded units from Bailey's Motorsport and the Bosch 044 fuel pump supplies both the increased flow rate and pressure required for this performance engine.

Genuine BD14 camshafts, a Victor Reinz multi-layer headgasket, Ford Motorsport HT leads with GRPA coils, high-flow grey injectors and an MSD Evolution chip rated to 400BHP complete the power and performance upgrades and an AP Racing six-paddle clutch and fully polybushed mounts help the car to handle the performance upgrades. Recent Timing Belt and Clutch fitted with a full Service Finally, this example is fitted with a SECS Monitoring unit which allows the driver to see and monitor Boost, Charge, Coolant Temp, RPM, Throttle Position, Run Time, Voltage and more allowing for further tuning and upgrades over time, should that be your preference. Practicality, power, performance and presence combined to perfection! FOR MORE PICTURES PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE !!!!
